Because the Admin Center wasn’t built for non-IT staff. It exposes hundreds of settings they don’t need, plus a few that could break things if clicked by mistake. UserDesk gives them a focused interface for the specific tasks you want delegated — and nothing else.
UserDesk uses Microsoft’s standard OAuth with delegated permissions — User.ReadWrite.All, Directory.ReadWrite.All, and Group.ReadWrite.All. It acts on behalf of the signed-in user and never stores passwords or has standing access outside of active sessions.
